Sun Peaks Resort, British Columbia
A
SunPeaks Resort in beautiful British Columbia is the 2nd largest ski area in Canada, boasting 3 peaks with 4270 skiable acres and 2894 feet of vertical drop. The longest run is a whopping 5 miles long! The surrounding European style village offers hotels, shops, cafes and restaurants. The resort has 13 lifts, 139 trails with 10% beginner, 58% intermediate and 32% advanced. Just 45 minutes from Kamloops airport, getting there is easy with multiple scheduled shuttle options available.

Purgatory Resort, Colorado
Located in the rugged San Juan Mountains of southwest Colorado, Purgatory resort is only 25 miles from Durango, CO, making it easily accessible. There is a blend of steep tree runs and wide open cruisers with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Purgatory is known for consistent dry powder and the stunning blue bird days that follow the storms. There are over 1600 skiable acres, with 107 named trails, 11 lifts and a vertical drop of 2,029 ft. The laid back resort is a paradise on earth.

Tamarack Resort, Idaho
Tamarack is an independent, 4 season resort
located 90 miles north of Boise, Idaho. It's a bit off the beaten path, making it feel like a well kept secret. Once here, you find 2,800 vertical feet on 2,000 acres for skiing, along with its on mountain lodging and other resort amenities making it the perfect destination ski area. Long runs and short lift lines means you can get a lot of skiing in during a day. You'll enjoy world class amenities with a casual, friendly atmosphere.
